SYNTHETIC ROOFING
NeoRoof is a scrim-reinforced underlayment made of synthetic polymers that is intended to be used on roof decks as a water-resistant layer beneath asphalt roofing tiles. The underlayment allows roof decks that have been exposed to rain or snow during
construction to dry after the primary roof has been installed. Adhering all local building code standards as well as the manufacturer's Instruction for finished roofing. It exhibits outstanding dimensional stability when compared to its regular asphalt felt underlayment when wet. Its stability eliminates the possibility of wrinkles caused by moisture related expansion. Standard asphalt felt can become so wrinkled when it picks up moisture that it can sometimes “telegraph” its wrinkles through to the tiles applied over it, creating visually objectionable wrinkles on the finished roof. NeoRoof extra-large 4-foot width and 250-foot length helps speed application. It has a special top surface treatment that provides excellent slip resistance, even when wet.
